Marco Caciotti

Marco Caciotti has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Marco began their career in 1997 as a consultant at Cselt s.p.a. (now Telecom Italia), where they worked on projects related to distributed objects, healthcare management systems, security infrastructure, and mobile application development. In 1999, they founded DataFox srl, a software development company that focused on banking, finance, telecommunications, public administration, and industry. Marco later joined La Cromografica srl as the Chief Executive Officer from 2003 to 2011. Additionally, Marco served as the President of Graphics and Printing Companies at Confindustria Firenze from 2006 to 2010. Marco also held the position of a Member of the Board of Directors at GIPEA - Gruppo Italiano Produttori Etichette Autoadesive from 2007 to 2014.

However, Marco's most significant roles were at MCC Label. Marco started as the Managing Director in 2011 before transitioning to the role of Vice President, IT EMEA Operations and Delivery in 2013. In this role, they managed IT operations for 37 plants across Europe and Africa, overseeing teams and ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions. Their responsibilities included budgeting, change management, team development, strategic planning, business systems delivery and support, infrastructure and security management, software development, and vendor management. Marco achieved several milestones at MCC Label, such as implementing ERP systems, introducing an AI-based production scheduling system, and establishing regional help desk and infrastructure teams. Marco also provided support for compliance with SOX, GDPR, and ISO legislations. Currently, Marco holds the position of Vice President, IT Global MRP at MCC Label, overseeing the delivery, support, and product management of production management systems for 108 plants worldwide.

Marco Caciotti holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, which they completed from 2001 to 2003. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering from Università degli Studi di Firenze, from 1991 to 1998. Marco also participated in a summer program at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) in 1996. Marco completed their high school education at Liceo Scientifico Leonardo da Vinci - Florence and received their High School Diploma from 1986 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, Marco Caciotti is also certified by IBM as a Learning Service certified instructor for J2EE, which they obtained in December 1999.
