Yasmin Ghahremani has more than two decades of journalism experience, including 10 years of educating consumers about personal finance. She is an Associate Editorial Director for Investopedia, providing leadership around educational content designed to help consumers make the best financial choices for their needs. Previously, Yasmin held a similar role at The Balance for nearly four years. Prior to that, she was a managing editor at Bankrate's CreditCards.com and Wise Bread and a contract editor at LendingTree.
Yasmin has also had an extensive international career covering business, technology, and the environment for broadcast and print outlets, including CNN, CNBC, and Asiaweek magazine. She has worked in the U.S., Hong Kong, and Australia.
Yasmin has a bachelor's in advertising from The University of Texas at Austin and a master's in international affairs from Columbia University.
