Fernanda Escobar is a research consultant currently engaged with the Multicultural AIDS Coalition, Inc. and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, as well as serving as a graduate research assistant at the Lurie Institute for Disability Policy. Escobar has extensive experience in research and policy analysis, having worked at various institutions including the Institute on Assets and Social Policy at Brandeis University and the Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. Previous roles include a consul assistant at the Consulate of Ecuador in Massachusetts and positions at the Massachusetts Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy Coalition and the World Bank Group. Escobar holds multiple advanced degrees from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Policy.
