Mayyad Bader

Mayyad Bader is a highly experienced Technical Lead at Multiplex since October 2012, overseeing pre-construction design activities and managing a 10-member team for the renovation of a large historical hotel, scheduled for completion in 2024. Previously, Mayyad served as Senior Design Manager, leading a 37-member team on significant projects such as the £530M Qatar National Library and the £700M Msheireb Downtown Doha hotel, where Mayyad developed project management strategies and engaged in subcontractor negotiations. Mayyad also held the role of Design Manager for the Qatar National Library, collaborating with renowned architect Rem Koolhaas on complex design challenges. Earlier experience includes a Senior Architect position at Habtoor Leighton Group, where Mayyad contributed to the Ritz Carlton hotel project, and an Architect role at KTA Architects, focusing on diverse infrastructural developments. Mayyad holds a Master of Project Management from UNSW and a Bachelor of Architecture from Middle East Technical University.
