Joaquin Giraldo-Laguna

Joaquin Giraldo-Laguna is a robotics engineer who currently works at Multiply Labs. Joaquin has also worked as a mechanical engineering intern at Augmental Tech, a research assistant at the MIT Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), and an advanced robotics intern at Amazon Robotics. In addition, they have also worked as a hardware intern at RightHand Robotics, Inc. and a research assistant at the MIT Media Lab.

Joaquin Giraldo-Laguna has a Bachelor's Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained in 2020. Joaquin was involved in various activities and societies during their time at MIT, including 2020 Class Council, First Year Orientation, Undergraduate Association, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, MIT Symphony Orchestra, and Zeta Psi. Prior to attending MIT, Giraldo-Laguna graduated from Gulf Coast High School in 2016. During their time in high school, they were involved in various activities and societies, including Société Honoraire de Français, Tri-M Music Honor Society, National Honor Society, Varsity Swim Team, Symphony Orchestra, Mu Alpha Theta Math Competition Team, Tiburon Theatre Troupe, Kiwanis Key Club, Green Club, and Music Mentoring Club.

The team of Joaquin Giraldo-Laguna, Robotics Engineer, consists of himself, Brigitte Schmittlein, Michelle Chen, Nadia Kreciglowa, Adrian Tanner, Kenny Harsono, Varun Bhatia, Ali Rizvi, Yasi Ainane, Sebastien Wah, Dorothy Szymkiewicz, Roger Lo, Kelsey Pool, and Xiaojie Chen. All of these individuals are either engineers or work in advanced robotics in some capacity.
