Nolan Dickey

Advanced Software Engineer at Multiply Labs

Nolan Dickey is an advanced software engineer at Multiply Labs. Nolan has worked with ROS2, OpenCV, DynamoDB, Node.js, React, and other technologies in order to build the backend data platform, regulatory inspector frontend, as well as factory floor software controlling multiple robots in a novel, fully-automated facility for the manufacture of personalized pharmaceuticals. Nolan has also interned at SAP Concur, where they designed, built, and optimized an algorithm for Concur’s Data Platform team which was key to new integration efforts with Hipmunk, a partner company. Nolan wrote this in Python, leveraging Apache Spark for distributed computing with HDFS and the Hive metastore atop it in order to match incoming Hipmunk booking searches/clicks with actual travel bookings in Concur’s product. These recovered correspondence data help the data science team better understand how people use the new Concur Hipmunk product in business travel specific use-cases. Prior to working at Multiply Labs, Nolan interned at SDLC Partners, L.P. and Carnegie Mellon University.

Nolan Dickey is a 2016 graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
