Job overview:

As a Technical Project Lead specializing in ERP Systems, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the technical aspects of ERP implementation projects within our organization. You will be responsible for leading a virtual team of technical experts, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of ERP initiatives to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for ERP implementation projects.
    • Coordinate project activities, resources, and dependencies to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  2. Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the design, development, and implementation of ERP solutions.
    • Lead a virtual team of technical specialists, including developers, system architects, and integration experts, to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Define technical standards, best practices, and methodologies for ERP system implementation and maintenance.
  3. Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders, including department heads, process owners, and end-users, to understand requirements and priorities.
    • Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  4. Quality Assurance and Testing:
    • Develop and implement test plans and strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of ERP systems.
    • Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of ERP solutions to identify and resolve technical issues.
    • Establish processes for user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business requirements and user expectations.
  5. Documentation and Training:
    • Create technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and user manuals.

    • Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on ERP system functionality, configuration, and maintenance.

    • Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation of lessons learned for future reference and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Proven experience (5 years) in technical project management, with a focus on ERP system implementation.

  • In-depth knowledge of ERP platforms such as Workday, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and ERP systems is a plus.

The salary range is 3500 EUR gross monthly but will be higher if you are a senior candidate. Our final offer to you will be set up fairly, considering your skills and experience.
