Lilita Gribonika

Head of Risk and Fraud Controls at Multitude

Lilita Gribonika has a diverse work experience in the financial industry, spanning over 20 years. Lilita started their career in Multibanka, JSC as a Leading Customer Manager in the Investment and Lending Department from September 1999 to November 2002. Lilita then joined NORD/LB as a Risk Analyst and later became the Deputy Head of Credit Department from November 2002 to September 2005.

Afterwards, they joined GE Money as a Risk Analyst in February 2007, where they were responsible for calculating monthly write-offs, reserves, and recoveries, preparing budget forecasts and plans, supporting debt sales processes, analyzing portfolio performance and reporting results. Lilita continued their role when GE Money's portfolio was acquired by Santander Consumer Finance Europe in January 2009 until April 2010.

Lilita's next venture was with Ferratum Group, where they held various roles. Lilita initially served as a Regional Portfolio and Risk Analyst from April 2010 to January 2014. Then, in February 2014, they became the Risk & Analytics Leader for East & Central Europe, overseeing risk management across 10 locations and supporting the launch of new products and the expansion into new countries. In October 2016, they were promoted to Head of Risk and Fraud Controls, responsible for drafting and implementing risk management frameworks and policies.

Throughout their career, Lilita has demonstrated their expertise in risk management, data analysis, report generation, and policy development. Lilita has also developed strong relationships with external partners and has experience presenting risk reports to external audits and regulatory bodies.

Lilita Gribonika completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Sciences at Riga Technical University in Latvia from 1994 to 1997. Lilita then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics at Latvijas Universitate from 1997 to 2000. Following this, they obtained a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Oulu from 2005 to 2007, specializing in Financial and Management Accounting. Lastly, they attended the Hanken School of Economics (Svenska handelshögskolan) from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Financial Information Systems.
