Martin Matušík has work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer at Ferratum Group since December 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Linux System Administrator at Gratex International, a.s. from July 2018 to December 2020.

Martin Matušík completed their Bachelor of Information Technology degree in Applied Informatics and Automation in Industry at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava/The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava from 2011 to 2014. Martin then pursued a Master's degree in Process Automation and Informatization in Industry at The Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava from 2014 to 2016.

In addition, Martin Matušík has obtained several certifications. Martin received the CompTIA Linux+ (Powered by LPI) Certification from CompTIA in February 2018. In September 2022, they obtained the CKS: Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist certification from The Linux Foundation. Furthermore, they earned the LPIC-1 certification from the Linux Professional Institute in February 2018, followed by the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation in September 2019. Martin Matušík also holds the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft, acquired in April 2020, as well as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in April 2018.
