Ashley Carroll (she/her/hers) received her Bachelor's and Master's in Social Work from Portland State University. Ashley worked the first ten years of her career in the domestic and sexual violence field, mostly in a systems coordination role housed in local government, with the last four years working at the intersection of disability and domestic violence. Ashley recently began a new role with Multnomah County's Office of Diversity and Equity as the Disability Resource Specialist, and served in the Emergency Operations Center responding to the COVID-19 pandemic as the Disability Access Advisor.
Ashley is an outspoken mental health advocate and served as the Vice President of Education and Support for NAMI-Clackamas. When Ashley is not working or speaking, you can find her holed up in her home attempting to quarantine and maintain some semblance of mental and physical balance and vitality.
