Julia Brim-Edwards

Julia Brim-Edwards currently serves as the Multnomah County Commissioner for District 3, a position held since June 2023. From July 2017 to 2024, Julia was a School Board Member for Portland Public Schools, taking on roles such as Chair and Vice Chair. Julia founded BrimStrategy in January 2022 and led the organization until June 2023. Prior to that, Julia amassed significant experience at Nike over a decade, fulfilling various senior director roles focused on global policy, operations, and public affairs. Julia co-founded the Nike School Innovation Fund, contributing to a $9 million commitment for educational innovation. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director of Communications for the Oregon Speaker of the House and Press Secretary for the US Senate Finance Committee. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in German from Oregon State University.
