Victim And Survivor Advocate: Department Of Community Justice

Sav Quezada, QMHA, B.A., serves as a Victim and Survivor Advocate with the Multnomah County Department of Community Justice since September 2025. In this role, Sav provides direct support to crime victims and survivors affected by justice-involved individuals and extends assistance to those on supervision dealing with complex trauma. Previous experience includes roles at Cascadia Health, where Sav led initiatives in trauma-informed care and provided crisis stabilization support as a Family Crisis Stabilization Specialist. As a volunteer with the Trauma Support Team, Sav facilitated coping and self-care groups while offering psychological first aid. Additional advocacy experience includes serving as a Crime Victim Advocate with the Multnomah County District Attorney's Office, where Sav assisted domestic violence survivors. Sav's extensive background in behavioral health and crisis intervention is complemented by an educational path towards a Master of Social Work at Portland State University, expected to conclude in December 2028.
