Terri Johns-Avery

Terri Johns-Avery is an experienced registered nurse specializing in pediatric care for medically fragile children. Currently serving as a school nurse at Multnomah Education Service District since August 2022, Terri has previously worked as a classroom nurse in both the Hillsboro and Beaverton School Districts, focusing on health promotion for students. With a tenure at PSA Healthcare providing home care for pediatric clients and extensive experience with Maxim Health Care, including care for medically fragile children in home settings, Terri has demonstrated a strong commitment to pediatric nursing. Additional experience includes providing immediate care at construction sites and working in various nursing roles at Kaiser Permanente and Providence Health & Services. Terri holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Portland and a Master of Science in Pediatric Primary Care from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
