Peter Naftaliev

Peter Naftaliev has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Peter is currently serving as the Co-Founder and CTO of Munch, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were an AI Entrepreneur and Consultant at Abelians from 2019 to 2021.

From 2017 to 2019, Peter worked at CyberMDX as the Chief Architect, where they were responsible for product design and implementation. Peter played a key role in creating a software network traffic monitoring and medical devices cyber-security for hospitals and clinical networks.

In 2017, Peter briefly served as the Co-Founder and CEO of lipsight, a startup venture.

Before that, from 2014 to 2017, Peter worked as a Research Team Manager at Tel Aviv University - School of Management. Peter led a team of computer programmers and supervised the implementation of various systems, with a focus on the Open Source community.

Peter has also worked as a Software and ML Consultant from 2009 to 2017, providing expertise in data mining and machine learning. Peter was involved in all aspects of product development, from identifying requirements to delivering the final product to clients.

Peter started their career as a Software Engineer in the Israel Defense Forces from 2006 to 2009. Peter worked on projects related to corporate security authorization, network filtering systems, and web technologies integration.

Peter Naftaliev obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Mathematics/Statistics from Tel Aviv University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Economics and Computer Science at the same university.
