Christo Semmelink

Christo Semmelink has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Christo started their career as an Operations Administrator at Morson International in 2007. Christo then worked as a Systems Engineer at Prime Product Manufacturing in 2012.

In 2014, they joined Tshwane University of Technology as a Part-Time Lecturer and later served as a Student Assistant in Industrial Engineering.

From 2015 to 2018, Christo worked at Business Connexion (BCX) in various roles. As an ICT Business Consultant, they implemented supply chain solutions for clients and focused on productivity improvement, system design, and architecture. Christo also worked as an Internet of Things Developer, where they performed solution architecting, system design, and full-stack development. In addition, they worked as a Manufacturing Systems Consultant, focusing on productivity improvement and system design.

In 2018, Christo joined Vectra Business Technologies as a Solution Architect, responsible for designing solutions. In 2019, they took on the role of Development Manager: Retail Innovations, leading the discovery and feasibility analysis of disruptive technology and serving as the product owner of the Victory Point of Sale Solution. Christo also contributed as a solution architect and system designer for Vectra Retail Solutions.

Since 2019, Christo has been a co-founder and CTO of Munch, where they focus on growing the customer base, expanding the partner network, and ensuring the product is world-class.

Christo Semmelink earned a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Industrial Engineering Cum Laude from Tshwane University of Technology, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university and completed it in 2015. In July 2017, they obtained a certification as an Oracle CPQ Cloud Service 2016 Certified Implementation Specialist from Oracle.
