Sara Coggins has extensive experience in education and project management, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Muncie Community Schools since August 2015. Concurrently, Sara has been a Project Manager at Interlink Resources since February 2010, where responsibilities include developing programs for Special Needs children. Prior to this role, Sara was the Training and Development Manager, overseeing intern processes and training logistics. From June 2003 to December 2009, Sara managed the Kids Connection program at Interlink Resources, focusing on child sponsorship in Kazakhstan. Earlier experience includes teaching science at Denver Street School from August 2000 to June 2002. Sara holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from Ball State University (2010-2015) and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology Education and Physical Science from Taylor University (1996-2000).

Muncie Community Schools (MCS) has delivered education and shaped the Muncie community since 1855. With 350 teachers at nine schools – six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school – MCS annually educates approximately 5,000 students and manages other educational facilities benefitting children and adults throughout East Central Indiana.
