Alan Jones has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Alan started their career at NACCO Materials Handling Group in 1991, where they served as a Senior Project Engineer for 16 years. During this time, they led new product development for industrial lift trucks and gained experience in mechanical engineering design and project management. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Crown Equipment Corporation, serving as the Chief Engineer and later as the Product Engineer Manager. In 2012, they joined NACCO Materials Handling Group again, this time as the Engineering Manager in the Applications Center. Alan held this role until 2014 when they transitioned to TWG, A Dover company. At TWG, they initially worked as an Engineering Manager for Mechanical Systems and then became the Director of Engineering and Service. In 2020, they joined Muncie Power Products, Inc. as the Senior Executive Director of Engineering and Innovation, overseeing a range of responsibilities, including new product development, engineering operations, and identifying potential revenue streams. Throughout their career, Alan Jones has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on driving revenue growth and innovation within engineering functions.
Alan Jones has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Portland State University. Alan also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from George Fox University.
