Amjat Careem

Amjat Careem is a skilled project engineer with extensive experience in large-scale construction projects. Currently employed at Munck Gruppen a/s since August 2021, Amjat is involved in a 3-billion-krone project for the development of an airport in Nuuk, which includes a runway, taxiways, an independent tower, and terminal facilities. Prior experience includes roles as a project engineer at Shanghai Chong Kee Construction, focusing on the ITC Colombo One Hotel and Residences Complex, and China Harbour Engineering Co. Ltd, managing a commercial development in Colombo. Amjat began their career as an assistant site engineer at Care Construction and Consultant, overseeing critical projects for the Sri Lanka Education Department and the Road Development Authority. Academic qualifications include an MBA from SLIIT and a BSc (Hons) in Civil and Structural Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University.
