Alexa Hooper is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Chief Privacy Officer & IT Counsel at Mundipharma International Limited since November 2012, previously holding the position of Senior Legal Advisor. In this role, Alexa has provided legal advice on pre-clinical, clinical, and post-authorisation activities, including global clinical trials and regulatory compliance matters. Prior to this, Alexa worked as Legal Counsel at SunGard Availability Services UK, focusing on commercial transactions and managed services. Alexa's early career included roles as a Gateway Assessor at Citizens Advice and an Assisting Solicitor in pro bono work, contributing to an Employment Tribunal case. Additionally, Alexa spent time as a Contentious Construction & Engineering Solicitor at McGrigors, specializing in dispute resolution. Education includes a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School and a joint honours degree in Chemistry & Law from the University of Bristol.
