Etienne Claessens

Etienne Claessens is a seasoned HR executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various multinational companies. Currently serving as Chief People Officer at Mundipharma since November 2023, Claessens previously held the position of Vice President, Human Resources EMEA at Baxter International Inc. from December 2021 to November 2023. Prior roles include Vice President, Human Resources EMEA and BU Surgical Solutions at Hillrom, as well as Vice President, Human Resources International for the company. Claessens has also contributed significantly to Philips and its subsidiaries, occupying roles such as Vice President, Human Resources and Senior Director Human Resources. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Management and Organizational Sciences from Tilburg University and additional studies at London Business School and the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
