Andre Knoerchen

Andre Knoerchen has over 17 years of experience at Munich Re (Group), where the current role is Head of New Tech Underwriting, focusing on facilitating the adoption of new technologies and business models through risk assessment. Previously held positions include Head of New Technologies & AI Underwriting, Head of New Risk Solutions, and various leadership roles in Claims and Operations. Prior to Munich Re, Andre Knoerchen served as Staff Attorney and Project Manager at the Claims Resolution Tribunal, working on Holocaust Victim Assets Litigation from 2003 to 2006. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Law and Economics from Universität des Saarlandes, an EMLE from the European Master in Law & Economics, and an LLM in Law and Economics from The University of Manchester.
