James Matkins

James Matkins has extensive experience in the insurance and data analytics sectors, currently serving as the Head of Business Solutions for Data Delivery at Munich Re since January 2011. In this role, James has also held positions including Head of Business Solutions for Single Risk, Data & Analytics, Solutions Architect, Application Developer, Technical Architect, and Business Analyst. Prior to joining Munich Re, James worked as a Test Analyst at Ellipse, focusing on UAT for a group life insurance platform. James holds a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Leeds, completed in 2009, and attended Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School from 1999 to 2006.
