Michael Mitterreiter

Michael Mitterreiter is a finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and quantitative research. Currently serving as Head of Section Financial Assets & Solutions at Munich Re since June 2020, Mitterreiter has previously held positions as a Senior Investment Manager and Quantitative Research Analyst at MEAG from April 2012 to June 2020, specializing in fixed income and equity strategies. Mitterreiter began a career in finance with internships at DWS Investments and Invesco Global Quantitative Strategies. Academically, Mitterreiter holds a Master of Science with Honors in Finance & Information Management from the Technical University of Munich, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and a research project at the University of Toronto.
