Stefan Heidekrüger

Stefan Heidekrüger is a Lead AI Engineer and Data Scientist at Munich Re since November 2022, following a role as a Research Scientist at the Technical University of Munich from September 2018 to October 2022, where research focused on Reinforcement Learning and Market Design. Prior experience includes positions as an AI Research Engineer at NeuralAgent GmbH and Data Scientist at Telefónica Germany, where involvement in large-scale Predictive Maintenance projects and statistical analyses was notable. Stefan has also worked at SAP on a Master Thesis regarding optimal bidding strategies, contributed as a Research Assistant in Machine Learning at HelmholtzZentrum München, and held various roles related to data analysis and consulting. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and Market Design from the Technical University of Munich, alongside a Master’s in Mathematics and several international exchange studies in related fields.
