Stefan Niederreiter

Stefan Niederreiter is a seasoned professional in cyber security and IT project management with over 19 years of experience. Currently serving as Senior Manager Cyber Security Risk Management at Munich Re since October 2019, Stefan focuses on making cyber security risks transparent to facilitate informed business decisions. Prior to this role, Stefan held multiple positions at Siemens from April 2010 to October 2019, including Senior Cyber Security Consultant and various project management roles associated with IT finance and compliance, as well as leading the Project Management Office. Earlier career experiences include IT project management roles at Nokia Networks and Siemens, where responsibilities ranged from global deployments of HR solutions to compliance initiatives such as Sarbanes-Oxley. Stefan holds a degree as Staatlich geprüfter Informatikkaufmann, attained between 2001 and 2004.
