Mandy Brzezinski

Mandy Brzezinski serves as the Assistant General Counsel at MERS of Michigan since July 2021, following a role as Assistant Public Defender at Calhoun County Public Defender’s Office. In that position, Mandy provided court-appointed indigent defense services, managed an active caseload, and prepared criminal cases for trial while collaborating with various stakeholders to reduce recidivism. Prior experience includes a Privacy Program Analyst role at Consumers Energy, where Mandy implemented privacy controls and developed policies in compliance with legal standards, along with previous analytical and customer-focused roles within the company. Mandy's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School and degrees in marketing and customer energy specialization from Northwood University and Lansing Community College, respectively.
