Jonathan Royas

Jonathan Royas, J.D., serves as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Santa Paula since March 2020, also holding roles as Management Analyst and Public Information Officer within the City Manager's Office. Involved with the Municipal Management Association of Southern California since October 2019, Jonathan has held multiple leadership positions including Vice President and Executive Board Director of Finance/Treasurer. Jonathan contributes to various organizations such as the Institute for Local Government and the International City/County Management Association, participating in committees and serving on boards. Prior experience includes internships with multiple city governments and a career in management at Michaels Stores, Inc. Jonathan holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Southern California Institute of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Claremont McKenna College.
