Chuck Peterson

Chuck Peterson is an experienced law enforcement professional with a comprehensive background in training and investigations. Currently serving as an Instructor at the Municipal Police Institute since 2007, Chuck specializes in areas such as search warrants, managing confidential informants, and drug investigations. From 2011 to 2018, Chuck founded and trained others at Calm Warrior, which focuses on stress management for criminal justice professionals. Previously, Chuck worked with the Municipal Police Training Committee, providing advanced training on diverse topics including domestic violence, human trafficking, and investigative techniques. Chuck's extensive career also includes over 35 years with the Yarmouth Police Department, where Chuck retired as a Detective Sergeant, primarily focused on drug investigations and major crimes. Chuck holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University, and an Associate's degree from Cape Cod Community College.
