Ali Karimi

Ali Karimi has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ali started their career as a Technical Member of the Rock Mechanic Laboratory at the University of Tehran in 2008. After this, they worked as an Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist at Babij Computer for over a decade, from 1999 to 2012. Following this, they joined Ramel Food Distribution as an Application Designer/Developer from February 2013 to September 2014. Ali then moved to the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation and held various roles including Software Developer from September 2014 to June 2017, Senior Architecture Developer/Designer from June 2017 to June 2018, Technical Manager, Information Technology from June 2018 to May 2020, and finally as the Technical Director, Architecture and Information Systems from July 2019 to May 2020. Their next role was as the Platform Tech Lead at EventMobi from May 2020 to August 2023. Ali is currently listed as the Principal Engineer at the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation from August 2023.

Ali Karimi has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from McMaster University (2017-2020). Prior to that, they earned an Advanced Diploma in Computer Programming from Seneca Polytechnic (2013-2016). Additionally, they hold a Master's Degree in Rock Mechanic Engineering from the University of Tehran (2004-2007). In terms of certifications, Ali Karimi has obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services in March 2020.
