David Cachia

David Cachia is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure, information technology, and cloud services. Currently serving as Associate Director of Infrastructure & Information Technology at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal since August 2022, David oversees daily operations within a specialized Ontario adjudicative tribunal. Prior to this, David held multiple managerial positions at Lakeridge Health, ultimately leading cloud services, cybersecurity, and technical operations, supervising a large team and managing complex IT infrastructures. With a solid educational background, including a Master's degree in Information Systems Management and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, David has consistently demonstrated expertise in technology strategy, operational management, and vendor relations throughout a diverse career. Additionally, David’s experience as a Certified Flight Instructor highlights strong leadership and teaching skills.
