Anne Marie ten Cate has extensive experience in historical architecture and restoration, serving in various capacities since 1994 at Erfgoedvereniging Bond Heemschut and currently as Eindredacteur for the Heemschut magazine. Ten Cate has contributed to heritage committees in multiple municipalities including Gemeente Noordwijk and Gemeente Haarlemmermeer while providing restoration advice at Ten Cate Bouwhistorie en Restauratieadvies. Ten Cate's background includes significant roles in Teylers Museum focused on research and restoration projects, as well as involvement in architectural color consulting. Academically, Ten Cate holds a Master's degree in History of Architecture from the University of Amsterdam and additional qualifications in related fields from Hogeschool Utrecht and the Frederik Muller Academie.
