Nathan Jesse

Nathan Jesse is an experienced recreation management professional currently serving as the Recreation Manager for the Municipality of North Cowichan since June 2023. Previously, Nathan held the position of Operations Manager at UBC Recreation from August 2017 to June 2023, overseeing various recreation facilities. Nathan’s background includes serving as the Leisure Services Manager and Aquatics & Program Manager for the City of Estevan, where responsibilities included managing leisure services and facility rentals. Nathan has also contributed to international events, working as an Auditor/Support Manager for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic & Paralympic Games and as Deputy Venue Manager for Canada Hockey Place during the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Nathan's career began with teaching English in South Korea after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Regina.
