Zaid Diaz

Zaid Diaz has extensive experience in urban planning and geography, currently serving as a City Planner for Municipio Autónomo de Caguas since August 2008. Responsibilities include advising on matters related to the Puerto Rico Planning Board and HUD programs, overseeing a planning office staff, and coordinating land use planning and evaluations. Previous roles include Planning Specialist at the Municipality of Trujillo Alto, Geographer for both municipalities, and Assistant Coach for Indian's Volleyball Club, Inc. Zaid holds a Master of Planning in Urban and Economic Systems from the Graduate School of Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Economy and Geography from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
