Mike Prendergast

Mike Prendergast has extensive experience in rugby coaching and playing. Mike'smost recent role is as the Attack and Backs coach at Munster Rugby, starting in 2022. Before that, they served in a similar capacity at Racing 92 from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Attack and Backs Coach 1st XV at Stade Français Paris from 2018 to 2019 and at Oyonnax Rugby from 2017 to 2018. Mike also served as the Head Coach (interim) at FCG Grenoble in 2017.

Earlier in their career, Prendergast was associated with Grenoble FCG as the Attack and Backs Coach 1st XV and Skills Coach from 2013 to 2017. Mike previously worked with Munster Rugby as the Munster ‘A’ - British & Irish Cup - Backs Coach from 2011 to 2013. Prendergast's coaching experience also includes a role as Director of Rugby & Head Coach of Young Munster 1st XV from 2009 to 2013. Mike began their career in rugby as a player at Gloucester Rugby in 2007 and then went on to work as a Skills Development Coach Academy at Bourgoin RFC from 2006 to 2007.
