Shane Claffey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2010, they began working as an Assistant Manager at Moorpark Filling Station, where they stayed until 2016. During this time, they gained experience in management and operations. In 2015, they joined Avalanche Multimedia Studios as the Head of New Business. In this role, they were responsible for editing video and audio, operating camera and lighting gear, and dealing with clients. Shane left Avalanche Multimedia Studios in 2016 and went on to work as a Store Supervisor at Mulrooneys Gala from 2016 to 2017. In 2016, they also started working as a Freelance Camera Operator/Sound Engineer at Thomas Moyles Wedding Films. Shane continued in this role until 2018. In 2017, Claffey took on the role of an Account Manager at Centus, where they stayed until 2019. In 2017, they also started their own company, Shane Claffey Media, where they are the Company Owner. Most recently, they joined Munster Rugby in 2022 as a Premium Content Co-ordinator.
Shane Claffey attended the University of Limerick from 2013 to 2017, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Music, Media & Performance Technology.

Munster Rugby represents all rugby in the province, on both a professional and a domestic level. It is a professional sports organization that competes in the Champions Cup, PRO14, and the British and Irish Cup. As a member of the Irish Rugby Football Union, they represent all the domestic rugby in the province of Munster. In Limerick, Thomond ParkStadium and in Cork, Irish Independent Park are their home venues.
