Dan Mccleese

Co-founder & Chief Scientist at Muon Space

Dan McCleese is a co-founder and chief scientist at Muon Space since March 2021. Prior to this role, Dan was the MethaneSAT Science Advisory Group Chair at Environmental Defense Fund and a Project Manager at Climate Modeling Alliance at Caltech until October 2021. Dan has an extensive background in scientific research, having served as the Chief Scientist and Director at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory for over two decades. Dan holds a DPhil in Atmospheric Physics from the University of Oxford.
