Jaret Deprin

Jaret Deprin is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software engineering and technical infrastructure. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Muon Space since October 2025, Jaret previously held various leadership roles at Saildrone from August 2018 to September 2025, including Vice President of Software Engineering and Vice President of Technical Infrastructure. Jaret's career began at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where roles spanned from Field Engineer to Senior System Engineer Team Lead from January 2004 to June 2018. Additionally, Jaret contributed as Lead Site Designer at Allied Hospitality Group from April 2003 to November 2004. Jaret holds a Bachelor of Science in General Studies with a focus on Information Systems from Northwestern University.
