Michelle Casey

Michelle Casey is an experienced statistician currently serving as the Head of Biometrics at Mural Oncology since March 2024. Prior to this role, Michelle held various leadership positions at Pfizer from July 2019 to February 2024, including Head of Oncology Statistics and Head of Rare Disease Statistics, overseeing statistical activities for clinical development across several therapeutic areas, including gene therapy programs. Additionally, Michelle was the Rare Disease Hemophilia and Cardiomyopathy Group Lead, responsible for multiple compounds and complex regulatory interactions. Michelle's career began at GSK, where from March 2003 to September 2014, Michelle progressed from Senior Statistician to Director of Statistics, specializing in late-stage oncology clinical trials. Michelle holds a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Mary Washington.
