Amber Rutgers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Amber is currently working as an Account Executive at MURAL since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Account Executive and Sales Strategy Lead at Cohere from November 2021 to April 2022. In this role, they contributed to developing sales strategies, establishing partner relationships, and identifying customer needs.

From 2018 to 2021, Amber worked at ExperiencePoint, where they held the role of Director, Enterprise Partnerships. During their time there, they also served as a Senior Business Partner from 2016 to 2018. ExperiencePoint focuses on helping individuals and organizations achieve significant results through practice in the areas of change and innovation.

Before joining ExperiencePoint, Amber worked at Evergreen Canada from 2010 to 2014. Amber held the positions of Manager, Hospitality Operations and Associate Manager, Event Operations. In these roles, they successfully developed a new revenue stream for the company and achieved sales targets. Amber managed clients such as Porsche, Microsoft, Google, and BMO, among others. Amber also developed operational policies and sales tracking systems.

Amber began their career at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, in 2006, where they worked as a Data and Research Assistant until 2014. Amber also briefly worked at The Hospital for Sick Children as an Information Coordinator in Newborn Screening in 2010.

Overall, Amber Rutgers has demonstrated a strong background in sales, strategy development, client management, and operational excellence throughout their career.

Amber Rutgers obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from the University of Ottawa, attending from 2002 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Design and Strategy from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, completing their studies from 2015 to 2017.
