Richard Hewitt

Richard Hewitt is an experienced finance leader with a robust background in financial planning and analysis, having held senior positions at various organizations since 2006. Currently serving as VP of Financial Planning & Analysis at Mural since July 2025, Hewitt previously held the title of VP of Finance at Off the Grid and Senior Director of Financial Planning & Strategy at Checkr, Inc., where responsibilities included post-merger integration and managing finances for all revenue functions. Prior experience includes positions as VP of FP&A at Inflection, CFO and Interim CEO at the Public Library of Science, CFO at Alibris, and Corporate Controller at Alibris. Education includes an LLB in Law from King's College London and a professional certification in Accounting and Finance from ICAEW.
