Arsalan Makinian

Arsalan Makinian is an accomplished professional in the field of urban studies and sustainability, currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sustainable Urban Environments at Glasgow Caledonian University and a Master of Engineering in Urban Climate and Sustainability at LAB University of Applied Sciences. With a diverse educational background including a Master's degree in Urban Design from Art University of Isfahan and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning from Islamic Azad University, Arsalan has accumulated significant experience through various roles. As a Researcher and Content Writer at ShahrShenasan, Arsalan focused on sustainable urban development and climate change initiatives, while also identifying urbanism challenges and sharing knowledge through partnership circles. Currently serving in Event Management at PilotGreen since July 2024, and having previously worked as an Urban Studies supervisor at Paydar Negaresh Shahr Sabz, Arsalan has demonstrated expertise in content creation, proposal writing, and team development. Additionally, Arsalan is set to further academic pursuits with an MSc in Environmental Technology at Universidad de Huelva in early 2025.
