Nirasha Parsotam

Nirasha Parsotam is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive leadership experience in innovation and quality improvement. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Innovation at Murdoch Children's Research Institute since January 2022, Nirasha also holds a position as a non-executive board member for the Victorian Voluntary Assisted Dying Board until January 2024. Previous roles include collaborative director and improvement advisor at the Institute of Healthcare Improvement, and various leadership positions at Bupa focused on health strategy and telehealth services. Nirasha's earlier career includes significant contributions to the Ministry of Health in New Zealand as a national program director for eMedicines, where significant advancements in electronic prescribing were achieved.
