Simon Walters

Simon Walters is an experienced professional in access, wellbeing, and equity, currently serving as the Director of Access Wellbeing and Equity at Murdoch University since May 2016. In this role, Simon leads initiatives to ensure the wellbeing and equity needs of students are met through high-quality support services. Previous roles at Murdoch University include Senior Manager and Manager of University Health, where Simon focused on student wellbeing initiatives. Prior to joining Murdoch University, Simon held various positions at the Department of Health (WA Health) from 2007 to 2016, including Program Manager for the Prevention and Management of Occupational Violence and Area Manager for Occupational Safety and Health. Earlier experience includes roles at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Northampton. Simon's educational background includes degrees from the University of Northampton and King's College London.
