Pankaj Chaukikar

Pankaj Chaukikar has extensive experience in design and user experience roles. Pankaj is currently serving as the Director of Design and User Experience at Murf AI since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Lead User Experience Designer at Interface Matters from February 2019 to May 2021. At Interface Matters, they led multiple projects and created a design management system to improve the customer experience.

From December 2017 to January 2019, Pankaj was employed as a UX Lead at WalkingTree Technologies. Pankaj also held the position of Head of Design and Technology at Protrain and Valdavi in 2016, where they led the product and content strategy and designed a user-centric learning management system.

In 2015, Pankaj worked as a Consultant (Designer) and later became the Lead Designer at Inshorts. Pankaj led the design team and was instrumental in enhancing the brand styling and designing the top-rated app in its category.

Before that, Pankaj gained freelance experience as a UI/UX Designer from January 2008 to April 2015. Additionally, they completed internships at Acropetal Technologies Limited in 2012, where they worked on user interface design and development, and at Exergy Solar Inc in 2010, where they focused on branding, website design, and solar PV project reports.

Pankaj Chaukikar completed their education at two different institutions. From 1993 to 2005, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya SECL Nowrozabad, where they completed the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE), focusing on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Following this, from 2006 to 2015, they pursued both a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) and a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
