Lauren Knox

Lauren Knox is the Director of Marketing at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & SurgiCenter. Lauren is a Rutherford County native. She was raised in Smyrna, and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and Marketing.

As Director of Marketing, Lauren oversees all marketing and public relations initiatives for Murfreesboro Medical Clinics's 20+ specialties, 80+ physicians and 5 locations. She has served in the Marketing department for the past 6 years, 4 of those as Director. In 2016 she was honored as one of Murfreesboro’s top Young Professionals by Murfreesboro Magazine.

Prior to her work with the clinic, Lauren was the Communications Associate at the Nashville Career Advancement Center. There she handled all communications and marketing for the agency in Rutherford, Wilson and Davidson Counties.

Lauren has a passion for being an active member in her community. She is currently involved in various events that benefit local nonprofit organizations, Special Kids Race, Bald in the Boro and Boro, Bites and Brews, just to name a few. Additionally, she has served on various committees impacting United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties, American Heart Association and March of Dimes. Since 2015, she has been an active member of Rutherford CABLE.

Lauren is married to Ryan Knox, High School History Teacher and Varsity Football Coach at Blackman High School. They live in Murfreesboro with their two children and two golden doodles. They are members of New Vision Baptist Church.
