Melanie Joy Peterson, MSIDT, has extensive experience in various roles within the legal and instructional design fields. Currently serving as City Clerk and previously as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant for the City Of Murfreesboro since June 2007, Melanie develops training materials and manages communications with national publishers regarding city code. An internship at Trevecca Nazarene University as an Instructional Designer Intern involved applying the instructional design process to develop an online undergraduate course in collaboration with subject matter experts. Prior experience as a Litigation Paralegal at King and Ballow included assisting in litigation cases and maintaining filing systems for multiple cases. Melanie holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Trevecca Nazarene University, a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education from Utah State University, and a Certificate in General Practice Paralegal from Southeastern Career College.
