Robert N. Mathisen

EVP at Murphy Company

Bob Mathisen is Executive Vice President of the firm’s Colorado offices. A registered, professional civil engineer with 35 years of industry experience, Bob oversees sales and operations for Murphy Company in Colorado and surrounding states. In addition to projects at several military and higher education facilities, including the U.S Air Force Academy and the University of Colorado-Boulder, the Murphy team frequently performs commercial and industrial work in the fast-growing Colorado biopharmaceutical, health care, energy, data center and brewing industries. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University and also has studied finance and accounting through Columbia University. Bob is a member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering and the Mechanical Contractors Association of America for which he serves on the Management Methods Committee. He also is a former Trustee for the Pipefitter Pension and Health & Welfare Funds, Local 357. Bob grew up in Massachusetts and attended Cornell in New York where he played on two National Championship Lacrosse teams. Bob has a charming and patient wife, Tracie, three lovely daughters, a dog named Millie, and Mathilda, their cat. Bob enjoys sailing, kayaking and hiking, but most of all, the New York Giants, discussing politics, and spending time with family.
