Matthew Talbert

Matthew Talbert, P.E., is a seasoned reservoir engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Reservoir Engineer at Murphy Oil Corporation since December 2019, Matthew has previously held positions at Frostwood Energy as a Senior Engineer, and as the Founder of Talbert Energy. Notably, an achievement includes the addition of over 60 MMBOE in proved developed reserves at Chevron, where Matthew worked as a Senior Reservoir Engineer for eight years. Matthew possesses a strong educational background with a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, an MBA in Finance and International Business from Tulane University, and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
