Ryan Gillen

Ryan Gillen is an experienced landman with a comprehensive background in mineral land management and integration. Currently serving as a Staff Landman at Murphy Oil Corporation since May 2016, Ryan has advanced through several roles, including Sr. Landman and Mineral/JV Landman. Prior experience includes a position at NAL Resources as a Mineral Land representative, where responsibilities involved evaluating newly acquired assets in Alberta and supporting post-closing integration of contracts. Previously, Ryan was a Mineral Land Negotiator at Encana Corporation, working in significant plays such as Montney and Duvernay, providing support in various land management aspects. Ryan's career began in hospitality and warehouse roles, and education was completed with a Bachelor of Commerce in Petroleum Land Management at the University of Calgary.
