David Axtman Mpas Pa-C, Caq-Em

David Axtman MPAs, PA-C, CAQ-EM is an experienced Physician Assistant with a diverse background in emergency medicine and military service. Currently serving as Waiver Authority PA at the USAREC HQ Office of the Command Surgeon since September 2022, David has also maintained a long-standing role as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant at Murray County Medical Center since March 2014. Other positions include Emergency Physician Assistant at Mercy Medical Center, adjunct faculty at Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, and past service as a Physician Assistant in the Army National Guard for 32 years. David has a strong educational foundation with multiple degrees, including an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute and a Master’s in Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Notable contributions include involvement with the SEMPA Advocacy Committee and work in trauma care at Sanford Health.
